The house sits in the countryside near Lamole, a small hilltop village above Greve in Chianti, known among wine lovers for some of the most elegant expressions of Chianti Classico. The vineyards here are set higher than in many other parts of the region, surrounded by woods, olive groves and dry-stone terraces.
The result is a landscape that feels wilder and more intimate — and wines that are often praised for their freshness, perfume and finesse rather than sheer power.
A car is essential. The house is reached by a country road. You come here for silence, space and the feeling of being properly away from everything while still being close enough to Greve, Panzano, Florence and Siena for day trips.
